Chopperhead Road Was founded in 1991 as BW Cycle, a small repair shop in a 6 x 14 foot trailer. It was a part time business while Dan was an active duty Marine (ret. 2006). In 1994 Dan and Jan were transferred to Jacksonville, NC where the shop moved into a 800 sqft building behind their house. Jan became familiar with the business and would order parts when Dan was deployed as duty called.

    In 2001 the small shop was so packed with customer bikes and builds that they decided to move to a commercial location and make a full time business of it. They moved to the current 5000 sgft building and changed the name to Chopperhead Road Incorporated. They currently have 5 full time employees who are either retired or former Military and a few part
time folks still on active duty.

    Chopperhead Road is a manufacturer with VIN authorization and is currently listed in Kelly Blue book and NADA price guides.
